Opportunities abound in this historic Hyde Park residence. Constructed in the late 1890s by prominent Tampa pioneers Charles Bell and his wife Julia Sparkman. The home showcases classical elegance and retains many original details. The timeless appeal of the large wrap-around front patio, double-plank oak floors, and multiple brick fireplaces continue to provide a warm foundation to build a life around. The unique zoning allows the property to be used as a residence, commercial office space, or a combined live-work arrangement. The home was moved to its current location at 709 W. Azeele from its original location at 315 Platt Street in 2001. At the time of the move, all PLUMBING AND ELECTRICAL WERE UPDATED TO MODERN STANDARDS and placed on a new concrete foundation. With a brand NEW ROOF and updated kitchen and baths, the home is in ideal condition for further cosmetic renovation and restoration as you make it your own. While the home is steeped in the history of Hyde Park, due to the move from its original location on Platt Street, it is considered non-contributing under the Hyde Park overlay.
